Ryan Paisley was born in December of 1999. By the age of four he decided that the Mandolin was the instrument for him, so learned a few chords. It wasn't till the age of nine that he decided it was time to take the mandolin seriously so he listened to Bill Monroe, Ronnie McCoury and Doyle Lawson and studied their styles of playing. At the age of twelve, Country Legend Marty Stuart invited him on stage to play some songs on the 40th Anniversary of Marty playing his first show with Lester Flatt at the Delaware Valley Bluegrass Festival. Today Ryan is the full time mandolin player for his dad's award winning band, Danny Paisley and the Southern Grass, and he continually travels the world playing traditional Bluegrass.
