Kathleen Burnett is an 18 year old multi-talented musician who lives in Boone, NC. She is currently in three bands: The Burnett Sisters, Trillium, and Strictly Strings. Kathleen also continues to play occasional gigs as a dual with her sister Anissa, and loves jamming and performing with her friends and family on a regular basis. She is an oldtime fiddler and guitarist, and has been singing and performing since she was four years old. Kathleen loves to compete at various fiddlers conventions in the folk song and old time fiddle category, including the oldtime and bluegrass band category with her band Strictly Strings. Kathleen owns a large draft horse, and competes in Dressage on her "free" (none involving music) weekends. She is currently taking classes at Caldwell Community College, and plans to transfer to ETSU (East Tennessee State University) where she will major in oldtime fiddle or folk singing.
